Se4All Project Concludes with Final Meeting and International Workshop in Argentina

Rafaela, Argentina – September 2025 – The Horizon 2020 MSCA Staff Exchanges project Selenium for All (Se4All) has successfully concluded with its Final Project Meeting on 2 September 2025 and the Final International Workshop on 3 September 2025, hosted in collaboration with Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Agropecuaria (INTA), Instituto Nacional de Tecnología Industrial (INTI), and the Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL) in Rafaela, Argentina.

The events brought together researchers, industry representatives, and policymakers from Europe and Latin America to share Se4All’s achievements in tackling selenium deficiency through selenium-enriched dairy products.

Highlights of the workshop included expert presentations on selenium biofortification, innovation in dairy products, and consumer insights, alongside the unique opportunity to taste selenium-enriched cheese produced from Se-fortified milk — a tangible outcome of Se4All’s research.

As leaders of the Dissemination, Communication, and Exploitation Work Package (WP5), REDINN extends its gratitude to all project partners, Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona, INTA, INTI, UNL, Beal Organic Cheese Ltd, Sapienza University, and ALBA Synchrotron for their collaboration and commitment over the course of the project.

Funded under the Horizon 2020 – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Staff Exchanges, Se4All has demonstrated how international cooperation, science, and innovation can contribute to healthier diets and more sustainable food systems.
