Pilots, Progress, and Policy: LIFE TURBINES in Action across Europe

As communication leaders, REDINN supports the public rollout and awareness of key LIFE TURBINES case studies:

• Tortosa, Spain: A filtered, refrigerated drinking fountain powered entirely by recovered hydropower marks one of the first successful installations.
• Scansano, Italy: A microgrid supporting a rural energy community is under construction.
• Valencia and its Metropolitan Area: Multiple installations are preparing to power EV stations, smart infrastructure, and water services.

These pilots were celebrated during the 21st-month partner meeting in Tortosa, where REDINN helped document and promote the installation of the project’s first turbine. Through communication tools, events, and stakeholder engagement, REDINN ensures that pilot achievements are visible, measurable, and replicable across Europe.
