UAB Secondment at REDINN

Strengthening Collaboration and Exploring Future Opportunities

On [2 October 2025], REDINN had the pleasure of welcoming colleagues from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) as part of the Se4All project secondment. The UAB delegation, composed of Prof. Maria Jesús Sánchez Martín and Prof. Mercè L. Lugany, engaged in a highly fruitful session with the REDINN team, Dr. Leonardo Piccinetti, Fabio Buccolini, and Donatella Santoro.

We were also honored by the participation of Prof. Danilo Corradini (CNR – Istituto di Sistemi Biologici), who shared insights into the Horizon Europe PATHFOOD project, opening the door for future synergies.

The meeting focused on:

• Assessing the impact and life cycle evaluation of Se4All.
• Exploring strategies to maximize results after the project’s completion.
• Identifying synergies with other EU-funded projects.
• Discussing the transfer of Se4All experiences into new frameworks and future proposals.

This secondment demonstrated the strong spirit of collaboration between REDINN and UAB, highlighting our shared commitment to advancing sustainable and innovative solutions in the agri-food sector.
